SIP loop detection

SIP Loop Detection IXC Softswitch has introduced a new feature that enhances call management—SIP Loop Detection. Loop calls occur when a call enters a loop within the SIP signaling network. Essentially, the same call is continuously routed between two or more devices/providers without being terminated, leading to network congestion, resource waste, and potential service degradation. IXC Softswitch’s SIP Loop Detection feature automatically identifies calls that may be entering a loop and terminates them before they can cause harm to the network. This not only improves system performance but also enhances the quality of service provided to customers.
